What is Web Chancellor?
Web Chancellor is the name of the system that you will be using in order to easily administer your website. The Web Chancellor system enables you to easily add pages, edit existing pages, and add specialized functionality to your website, without having to call, or pay, a web developer each time you want something done. You'll be surprised at how easy it is to use. Video tutorials are available.
What can the Web Chancellor system do?
The Web Chancellor system is broken down into modules. The "My Pages" module, for example, allows you to add and edit pages, password protect pages, perform global searches and replaces, reorder and organize your navigational menu system, place user-friendly links on pages which allows them to be emailed, printed or converted to user-friendly format, and much more. There are several dozen other modules, as well, with more being continually added.
Is technical assistance available if I need it?
There are at least 4 ways that technical assistance can be obtained. First, there are video tutorials. These are easy to follow and average 3 minutes in length each. Second, there is an interactive on-line manual which is built right into the system. "Manual" tabs are interspered throughout the system which you can click on to obtain information on numerous features. Third, we provide unlimited email support to paying customers. Finally, phone support may also be available, depending on the package or terms of sale.
What is provided with the monthly packages?
When you sign up to one of our monthly packages, we'll provide you with hosting, email addresses, webmail, the Web Chancellor system that will allow you to add and edit pages and, last but not least, your website. In short, there's nothing missing in order for you to experience a global internet presence. When you pay yearly, you also have the choice of allowing us to pay for your domain name annually, so that you never need to worry about domain name management again (or possibly forgetting to renew a domain name).
How frequently is the Web Chancellor system updated?
The Web Chancellor system is continually being updated to bring you the latest in technology. We pay attention to issues such as cross-browser compatability, ease-of-use, and feature requests. When you sign up to one of our monthly packages, you'll never pay for upgrades again. When you request a feature that adds value to the system, we'll often add it at no cost to you.
